Rachel Cleary is a Brooklyn native and veteran of the downtown performance art scene. She has made appearances in independent films (“Love, Ludlow”; “Werewolf Bitches From Outer Space”; “Skate Joan (of the Park)”), is a founding member of Radio Free Brooklyn, where she produced and hosted the long running Hear and Now with Rachel C. She currently serves as the station’s Music Director and is a professional running coach and track and field official.
Jeannie Fry surfaced in the punk/indie scene of the 1990s playing in bands like Bad Dreamhouse, Kitty Badass and Same Dream. Her current bands are My Little Eye and Embarazada. Her music has been used in movie soundtracks and she has written several musical scores for the works of playwright Nina Morrison (Arrow In/Girl Adventure/Hearts on Fire). More recently she has turned her talents to behind the scenes with camera work, production and directing music videos, documentaries and the YouTube sitcom “7 Weeks 7 Grand.”
Lia Komakhidze, aka Liika, originally from country of Georgia, has been a dedicated video editor for over 15 years. While studying art at Tbilisi Arts Academy, Liika began working at a local TV station as a news reporter. She soon discovered her true passion for video editing and has since worked for leading TV stations and production companies in Georgia, contributing to various TV shows, movies, and other productions. Now in New York, Liika works as a freelance video editor and cinematographer on a wide variety of projects.
Robert “Moe” Maloney began in music as a roadie. Eventually, performances of his own band “The Moe” were a highlight of the Brooklyn Beat revue concerts. Moe worked on videotaping performances at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) and filming rock performances with Byron Mansylia for the HBO program “Reverb Nation”. More recently, he produced the 2023 “Sidewalk Shed Concert Series” at Farrell’s Bar and Grill, he can be seen in the YouTube sitcom “7 Weeks 7 Grand” and appearing frequently at various South Brooklyn venues.
A musician all his life, Michael West was the lead singer for The Original Rays, a band central to the founding of the Brooklyn Beat scene. In later years, recording and performing as M. West, he has produced and appeared in award winning music videos. Today, he performs occasionally and works as an art fabricator when he is not moving mountains to get this film made and distributed. He can also be seen in the YouTube sitcom “7 Weeks 7 Grand.”
Aishwarya “Ash” Tiwari is a seasoned designer and developer with a knack for turning innovative ideas into immersive experiences. She specializes in blending the physical and virtual worlds, producing interactive digital art that captivates audiences both emotionally and intellectually, often delivering profound social and educational benefits. When she’s not pushing the boundaries of tech, Ash enjoys hanging out with her cats and moonlighting as a web designer for indie Brooklyn bands.
